The first assignment of Settlement Planning Services (setplan) in the Northern Cape was to draft the Rapid Review of Socio-Economic Conditions in 1995 when the Northern Cape was a newly established province. Since then, setplan has gained a wealth of experience in the Northern Cape and provides services to government, donor agencies, consulting engineers and private sector companies.
The Northern Cape office provides a wide range of skilled services such as the preparation of hospital business cases for the revitalisation programme, health service transformation plans, regional plans for water and sanitation, local government assessments, reports on human development and research of socio-economic and health issues.
