Rodney's undergraduate training was in economics and the environmental and geographic sciences, and in his post graduate studies he obtained masters degrees in City & Regional Planning and Business Administration - all at the University of Cape Town. Rodney has 28 years of professional experience and has worked in South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Angola. Since 1993 he has lectured land use planning to final year Geomatics students at UCT.

Neville's undergraduate training was in agricultural management and in his post graduate studies he obtained a masters degree in Town & Regional Planning - both at the University of Stellenbosch. Neville, who has 33 years professional experience, specialises in the field of rural development.
